Dutch princess Beatrix in hospital after fall

AlQa'dah 16, 1434, Sep 22, 2013, SPA -- Dutch Princess Beatrix was in hospital with a
broken cheek bone following a fall, the royal house reported Sunday, DPA reported.
The 75-year-old former queen was reported to have been in the presence of family members when the accident occurred. She underwent an operation Sunday morning, and she is due to remain in hospital for
several days.
After 33 years on the throne, Beatrix transferred the crown to her 46-year-old son Willem-Alexander on April 30.
