The Crown Prince of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander has broken a bone in his shoulder in a fall while ice-skating, a spokesman for the Dutch Royal House said Saturday. The 42-year-old heir to the throne would rest his shoulder for several weeks, the spokesman was quoted as saying by DPA. Willem-Alexander, had managed to push his arm back after it came out of joint when he fell on Friday. An X-ray in hospital later showed a fracture of the shoulder joint. Although the prince would have to keep his arm in a sling, he would carry out all his public duties, the Royal House said. Ice skating is popular in the Netherlands.
