AlQa'dah 11, 1434, Sep 17, 2013, SPA -- The Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has completed preparations to host the 2nd Int'l Conference for the Art of Crowds Medical Control which will be organized by the Ministry at Riyadh Carlton hotel from 21-23 September under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a press conference to highlight the Ministry's preparedness for this important event, Dr.Ziad Memesh, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Public Health and Chairman of the conference's Steering Committee, said the conference will focus on the latest developments of MERS-Cov and ways to control it, particularly among pilgrims and Umrah performers. He said 15 health ministers from the GCC countries, the U.S., France, Cuba, Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan, Indonesia and South Korea in addition to several high-level delegates from international and regional health institutions and organizations as well as the Secretary General of the Arab League, the Secretary General of the GCC, the Director General of the WHO, the WHO regional (Middle Eastern) Director, members of the Internatioanl Consultative Council of the Ministry of Health, and a number of experts and scientists from all over the world will attend the event.
