AlQa'dah 6, 1434, Sep 12, 2013, SPA -- Dr. Zaid bin Abdulmohsen Al Hussain, Vice President of Human Rights Commission, met here today with Deputy Chief of Diplomatic Mission at the British Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Julian Riley. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed issues of common interest in the field of human rights. For his part, Dr. Al-Hussain stressed that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia works to respect and protect human rights in accordance with Shariah laws. He added that the human rights in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are a message which has appeared evident through initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud aiming to peaceful coexistence between peoples. For his part, the British deputy ambassador asked a number of questions on the commission's duties and some regulations and practices to Dr. Al-Hussain who answered them. Riley lauded a state of human rights' report which included transparency and realistic reading, hailing the Kingdom's experiment in combating terrorism.
