AlQa'dah 4, 1434, Sep 10, 2013, SPA -- Ministerial Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member States held its 128th regular session at Jeddah Conference Palace today, in the presence of Prince Saud Al -Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs and head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the session; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, the GCC Secretary General. Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the current chairman of the Council, delivered the opening speech of the session in which he emphasized the spirit of the unified action, common historical responsibilities, solid position and unlimited solidarity of the GCC member States against the challenges and threats of acts of violence and terrorism surrounding them from whatever the source of such acts.
