AlQa'dah 3, 1434, Sep 9, 2013, SPA -- The strategic planning experts forum in the Federation of the Universities of Islamic World (FUIW) started its meetings here today with the participation of delegations representing 32 Islamic countries. Assistant Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Universities, Dr. Mustafa Idris Al-Bashir, said in an opening speech before the forum that holding the forum comes at a delicate stage experienced by the Arab and Islamic nations in light of the growing external risks that threaten the Islamic societies in the world. Agenda of the two-day forum includes the discussion of ways to develop the educational curriculum in Islamic universities and exchange of experiences and information among them in order to raise and improve the standard of higher education in these universities.
