Three injured as English, Ukrainian soccer fans brawl in Kiev

AlQa'dah 3, 1434, Sep 9, 2013, SPA -- A fight between about 40 English and 20 Ukrainian soccer fans prior to a World Cup qualifying match in Kiev, Ukraine, led to the stabbing of one, UPI quoted police as saying.
A group of English fans, in Kiev for the European qualifying matches of the World Cup, were attacked with knives Sunday by a Ukrainian group, leaving one English fan man stabbed, a second treated for a head injury and a third hospitalized with severe bruising, the London Evening Standard reported.
The British Foreign Office said it was aware of the incident and is providing "consular assistance." No arrests have been made.
