AlQa'dah 2, 1434, Sep 8, 2013, SPA -- Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqri opened here today the First Saudi International Conference on Crisis and Disaster Management organized by Imam bin Mohammed bin Saud Islamic university during the period 2-3, Dhu-AlQa'dah, 1434H. Dr. Al-Anqri toured the exhibition highlighting the governmental institutions' efforts in the field of reducing phenomenon of crises and disasters. The conference will address crises and disaster management; modern techniques in crises and disaster prediction and prevention; planning and training in crises and disasters prevention and minimizing their effects; community participation, health services and mass media and their roles in managing crises and disasters, and experiences and partnership in crisis and disaster management.
