AlQa'dah 2, 1434, Sep 8, 2013, SPA -- The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) will participate in the 7th Souk Okaz due to start on Tuesday with an Exhibition of The Kingdom in SPA Lens. The Exhibition includes photographs of the kings of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting from Late King Abdulaziz (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul) until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the expansion projects at the Two Holy Mosques, developmental works in the holy sites to serve pilgrims, aspects of folklore, tourist landmarks, and sporting achievements. It also includes photographs of the new building of Saudi Press Agency currently under construction in Riyadh. The President of the Saudi Press Agency, Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, said that SPA's participation in the activities of Souq Okaz aims to highlight the historical stages of the Kingdom and monitor the most important changes, noting that photographs narrate the history of the Kingdom in the past and present, Hajj rituals, folklore, and progress in the Kingdom in all fields. Al-Hussein stressed that SPA has been participating in different national activities emanating from its roles in highlighting the achievements of the homeland through its activities spanning more than four decades in the transmission of events and the homeland's developmental achievements, indicating that SPA is keen to cover this cultural event and seeks to highlight it through news and pictorial reports by recruiting a team of its employees to perform the work and live up to the status of this cultural event.
