Prince Faisal Bin Khalid Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir region, opened here today the exhibition of photos entitled "Kingdom's In SPA Camera" being held within the activities of Abha Summer Festival for this year. The Prince was greeted upon arrival at the exhibition by President of Saudi Press Agency, Abdullah Bin Fahd Al-Hussein. The Prince cut a ribbon marking the opening of the exhibition, and he was briefed by the SPA President on the exhibition displaying more than 400 photos about the Kingdom's history in the past and present; the Kingdom's Kings from its Founder Late King Abdulaziz (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul) until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier; a number of photographs on Hajj rituals, folkloric heritage, and events that display the progress and development in various regions of the Kingdom. The Prince was also briefed on the equipment for transmitting news and photos used in the past by "SPA", and a replica of the SPA building being currently established. The Prince put down some commending remarks in the visitors' book and received a commemorative gift from the SPA President on this occasion. The Prince praised in a statement the participation of the Saudi Press Agency, describing it as effective and distinctive of its kind, wishing "SPA" further achievements in the service of the dear homeland under the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier. The Governor of Asir region expressed his thanks to the President of the Saudi Press Agency for SPA's efforts in holding the exhibition which is valuable to Abha Summer Festival for this year. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials.
