Hamad bin Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Wabel, as Assistant Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs at Directorate General of Water in the Eastern Region at the Ministry of Water and Electricity (rank 14th). The Cabinet discussed a number of issues on its agenda, including the reports of General Authority for Survey and the Ministry of Education for previous financial years. The Cabinet also discussed the draft executive program and timetable for the privatization of flour mills, referred to it by the Supreme Economic Council and reviewed its objectives including the following: 1- Increasing the competitiveness of the flour mills sector, and encouraging the private sector to invest in it. 2- Raising the operational efficiency of the flour mills sector with the optimal exploitation of its workforce. 3- Reviewing all regulations and procedures related to the activities of flour mills in order to provide an appropriate environment to simplify their procedures and overcome the obstacles in order to reach the desired goals. The Cabinet was briefed on the contents of the annual reports and draft executive program and timetable for the privatization of flour mills and issued its directives in this regard.
