French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said Saturday that all signs pointed to the Syrian regime being behind this week's "chemical massacre" on the outskirts of Damascus, dpa reported. "All the information at our disposal point to there having been a chemical massacre in Syria near Damascus and that it was Bashar al-Assad's regime that was behind it," Fabius, who is on a visit to the Middle East, said in the West Bank town of Ramallah. The attack was "of such gravity" that it required a "strong reaction," Fabius said. Earlier this week, Fabius had called for a "reaction of force" to Wednesday's attack.
