The 16th Arab Conference on Combating Terrorism began here today with participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab League and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. In his speech before the conference, the Representative of Kingdom to the conference Maj. Gen. Saeed bin Saad Al-Qahtani conveyed greetings of Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and the Honorary President of the Arab Interior Ministers Council. He stressed that the terrorism is and will be more dangerous on the security and stability of the Arab countries. "In this regard, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed support of the International Center for Combating Terrorism, through the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made on 6-8-2013. This support reflects the Kingdom's effective contribution to combating terrorism," he added. Al-Qahtani concluded that the Arab countries should exert more efforts and cooperate in combating the terrorism. The two-day conference will discuss issues pertaining to combating terrorism and money laundering, in the Arab countries.
