In implementation of the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to send three field hospitals with full crews of doctors, technicians and medical equipment in support of the Egyptian people, the eighth Royal Saudi Air Force assistance plane arrived here today. The consignment was received by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Abdulaziz Kattan who is also the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to Arab League, Military Attaché of Saudi Embassy in Egypt, Maj. Gen. Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Agla; and a number of Egyptian officials. Today's shipment is one out of 47 cargo planes forming the whole equipment needed to form the three field hospitals. The sixteenth plane is expected to arrive in Cairo by the end of today to complete the first field hospital, the ambassador said. For his part, Major General Ahmed Abdulhaleem, Director of Medical Services at the Egyptian armed forces, conveyed thanks to and appreciations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, for their generous support.
