Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques orders transfer of patient from Jazan to King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered the transfer of patient Khalid bin Mohsen Shaari from the region of Jazan to Riyadh for treatment at King Fahd Medical City. The patient suffers from unusual obesity as he weighs 610 kilograms preventing him from movement.
This was stated by Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabiah, who expressed great thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the noble gesture reflecting the King's great care and support for providing health care to citizens.
Immediately after the issuance of the King's order, the Ministry of Health formed a specialized medical team to visit the patient in the city of Jazan to plan transportation and treatment and to determine the requirements in such a case.
Final arrangements for transport and treatment are currently underway in coordination with the concerned authorities.
