Obama to make first statement on Egypt situation

The White House announced Thursday that
President Barack Obama would make his first statement on the
situation in Egypt, dpa reported.
The statement is expected at 10:15 am (1415 GMT) from Martha's
Vineyard, Massachusetts, where the president is on holiday.
