A female member of parliament has been kidnapped in eastern Afghanistan by an unknown group that is demanding the release of four prisoners, officials said Wednesday. "Fariba (Ahmadi) Kakar, a member of parliament, who was travelling from Kandahar to Kabul along with her three children was kidnapped by a group of armed men thought to be Taliban," DPA quoted a tribal elder in Ghazni as saying. He said, "What I know is that her children and driver have been released in a security forces operation, but she is still a hostage. "
