Saline Water Conversion Corporation provided until the end of the second quarter of the current year 2013, about 726 million cubic meters of desalinated water and 7.37 million megawatts hourly of electricity. The Corporation's Governor, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Ibrahim, said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Corporation provided during the holy month of Ramadan, about 140 million cubic meters of water, an increase of 8 million cubic meters compared to the same period of the last year, an equivalent of 5.9%. He noted that the Corporation provided 1.36 million megawatts hourly of electricity to the network of Saudi Electricity Company, up 240,000 megawatts hourly compared to the last year, an equivalent of 21.4%.
