The U.S. State Department announced Tuesday that the Embassy in Sanaa remains closed, and that U.S. officials in Yemen are only handling emergency cases. "Ambassador Gerald Feierstein is back in Yemen and has been engaging with Yemeni officials," State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters. "We are taking appropriate steps to plan for reopening Sanaa as soon as possible, but no exact date [is set] at this time," Harf said during the daily press briefing.
