Malian Former prime minister Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, popularly known as IBK, has won a substantial lead in Mali's preliminary results of the presidential polls, government announced Friday. According to dpa, Keita won 39.24 per cent of the vote, followed by former finance minister Soumaila Cisse with 19,44 per cent. The candidate of Adema, Mali's largest party, former mining director Dramane Dembele received 9.59 per cent of votes. A run-off date for the presidential elections has been scheduled for August 11.
