The Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior said in a statement that security authorities managed today morning to arrest Abbas Ali Mohammed Al-Mazra, who was on the wanted persons' list published on 08/02/1433H. The Security Spokesman also said that Al-Mazra's arrest came after information indicated his presence in a house in Awamiyah Town along with eight persons wanted in connection with drug-smuggling cases. The house was raided, and they were arrested. "Security men were subjected to heavy fire by rioters in an attempt to prevent the arrest of the wanted persons. Therefore, the security men exchanged fire with the rioters, but no one was injured," the Security Spokesman said.
