U.S. Secretary of State Kerry Announces Indyk as Middle East Peace Envoy

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announced Monday former Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk as the Middle East peace envoy who will lead talks between Israeli and Palestinian negotiators beginning later Monday in Washington.
Kerry named Indyk to be his point man for the talks during a brief statement to reporters at the State Department.
