Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, received at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today the Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashed Al-Zayani; the Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud; and the deans of diplomatic groups accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The deans included the Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti and Dean of the Arab Group Dhiauddin Saeed Bamakhramah; the Ambassador of the Republic of Chad and Dean of the African Group Saqr Yusuf Anto; the Ambassador of France and Dean of European Group Bertrand Besancenot; U.S. Ambassador and Acting Dean of North America Group James B. Smith; the Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina and Dean of South America Group Jaime Sergio Cerda; Australian Ambassador and Acting Dean of Atlantic Group Neil Hawkins; the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Saeed Al-Dhahri; Acting Charge D'affaires of the Sultanate of Oman Jassem bin Eid Al-Saadi; Acting Charge D'affaires of Bahrain Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Eid; and Charge D'affaires of Kuwait Wael Yusuf Al-Anzi. The ambassadors conveyed to the Crown Prince the greetings and congratulations of the leaders of Gulf, Arab, Islamic and friendly countries on the occasion of holy month of Ramadan, expressing their thanks to and appreciation of the Crown Prince for receiving them, and wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further progress and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier. For his part, the Crown Prince sent the greetings of the King and the Crown Prince to the leaders of these countries, wishing many happy returns on the holy month of Ramadan and further progress and prosperity for Arab, Islamic, and friendly countries. The audience was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chief of the Crown Prince's Court and Special Adviser.
