Crown Prince Chairs Cabinet's Session 2 Jeddah

Amendment of the name of (Council for the Protection of Competition) to be "the Competition Council" that shall be independent legal body and enjoy administrative and financial independence based in the city of Riyadh and it has the authority to set up offices in the regions of the Kingdom as needed.
2 - Re-formation of the Council to be chaired by the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the membership of one representative from each of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority, in addition to four neutral members of specialists in the areas of systems and the economy (non-practitioners of business, industrial or service works and non-representatives at government agencies) to be appointed by the Cabinet's decision upon the proposal of the President of the Council.
