Eight people were hurt after two trains collided Thursday morning in Gothenburg, Sweden, UPI quoted officials as saying. The trains derailed after one train crashed into the side of the other at a railway junction in the center of town, The Local.se reported. Three of the injured were taken to an area hospital. Investigators are trying to determine which driver should have given the right of way. The accident snarled traffic in downtown sections of the city. Summer roadwork was complicated by thousands of visitors in town for the World Youth Cup youth soccer tournament.
