Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Chad Faisal bin Mislet Al-Mandeel, hosted at his residence here an Iftar (Breaking-Fast) party for heads and officials in charge of Islamic associations and centers in Chad. Addressing the gathering, the ambassador highlighted the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of Islam and Muslims, noting that the service of the two holy mosques comes at the priorities of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He gave an account on the new expansion project of the Mataf in the grand mosque ordered by the monarch to raise the capacity of the walking area around the Kaaba known as Mataf (circumambulation) from its current 48,000 worshippers per hour to 105,000. The party was attended by a number of senior Chadian officials.
