wielding man on a rampage was shot to death by police on Sunday after he killed one person and injured two
others in western Sweden, police said according to dpa.
The attacks took place in the centre of the town of Varberg, south
of Gothenburg.
Two of the victims were stabbed in their homes. One of them, a
woman in her mid 80s, later died of her injuries.
A young man, also attacked in his home, was in stable condition at
hospital. A third man was stabbed in the neck on a nearby street.
