The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made a telephone call today to the Saudi ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, who is also Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, to get reassured of the safety of Saudi citizens stationed in Egypt. For his part, the ambassador reassured the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during the conversation that no Saudi citizen was ever hurt or subject to harm in Egypt. Gattan also explained that the embassy in Cairo and the Saudi consulates general in each of Alexandria and Swiss are closely following the situation of Saudi nationals stationed in Egypt, expressing their readiness to provide them with their needs, if any arise amid the current circumstances in Egypt.
