Kerry meets Abbas, extends shuttle diplomacy trip

US Secretary of State John Kerry and President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine met for a third time in as many days Sunday, as the chief US diplomat extended his visit to push Palestinians and Israelis to relaunch peace talks, DPA reported.
Kerry has shuttled between Jerusalem, Amman and Ramallah since Thursday, when he arrived for his fifth visit to discuss the negotiations that stalled nearly three years ago.
