Watan newspaper also highlighted Prince Saud al-Faisal's remarks during a meeting with his U.S. counterpart yesterday about the situation in Syria, saying they were clear and explicit and reflect the Kingdom's firm stance on the Syrian crisis and its repercussions on the region. Al-Yaum newspaper hailed the Kingdom's position expressed yesterday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the senior scholars council regarding the Syrian issue. Okaz newspaper said that the Kingdom did not abandon its firm position stressing the importance of speeding to the rescue of the Syrian people who are suffering from the Syrian aggressive regime's suppression. On another topic, Al-Riyadh newspaper called for brotherhood, closeness and open fields of understanding, cooperation and work among Islamic sects.
