Watan and Okaz newspapers also commented on Iran saying that the agenda and goals will not change downplaying the significance of the election win by Hassan Rohani. Al-Yaum newspaper said that the aggressive behavior pursued by Iran against the Arab countries violates covenants of brotherhood, neighborliness and the Islamic principles. Al-Sharq newspaper highlighted the moderate Hassan Rohani's win of the Iranian presidential elections saying it indicates that a new balance of power within the Iranian society began to emerge.
