The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at his palace in Jeddah on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Cabinet expressed its thanks to the King for issuing the royal order that the days of the official work shall be from Sunday to Thursday, and the weekly holiday on Friday and Saturday, noting that the order will achieve the obvious interests for the Kingdom in addition to the significant gains, especially in the economic aspects. The order emanates from the economic position of the Kingdom and its international and regional obligations and orientation towards the optimal investment of this status for its interests and the welfare of its citizens, in addition to the critical importance of achieving greater homogeneity on weekly working days between governmental departments, bodies and national institutions and their counterparts at the regional and international levels. The Cabinet appreciated the national vision of the dimensions of the royal order for the achievement of the Kingdom's general interests. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) after the session that the Cabinet was briefed on a report on the latest developments at regional, Arab and international arenas, including the situations in the occupied Palestinian territories, Syria and Lebanon. The Cabinet warned in this regard against the continued attacks and transgressions practiced by the Israeli authorities, especially in occupied Al-Quds City, stressing that all violations, land confiscation, settlement building, excavations in the holy sites, their desecration, and attempts to Judaize the holy city, displace its people and falsify its history, are null and void under the international law and relevant United Nations resolutions . The Cabinet called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility to stop such attacks and racist practices against the Palestinian people and the holy sites in Palestine. --More 15:53 LOCAL TIME 12:53 GMT تغريد
