The Kingdom's non-oil exports for the first quarter of 2013 amounted to SR 46,841 million, a decline of SR 1,004 million, representing 2.1% in comparison to the same period of the year, 2012. The Department of Statistics and Information said in its report received today by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the exports included chemical and plastic products and metals. The report said that the Kingdom's imports for the first quarter of 2013 amounted to SR 154,922 million, an increase of SR 18,439 million, representing 13.5%, in comparison to the same period of the year 2012. The imports included machineries, electrical appliances, transport equipment, and metals.
