The non-oil exports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in December, 2012 rose by 7.94% compared to the same period in 2011, amounting to SR 18,065 million. In its monthly report transmitted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Central Department of Statistics and Information said that the Kingdom's imports increased by 23.13% in December, 2012 compared to the same period in 2011, amounting to SR 50,525 million. It pointed out that the exports included petrochemical and plastic products, and foodstuffs; while the imports included machineries, electrical appliances, transport equipment, metals and their products, and foodstuffs.
