Yaum newspaper said that the meeting of the Group of Friends of Syria, which began yesterday in Doha, was more serious than previous meetings although the meeting did not take the necessary commitments to save the Syrian people from the ordeal and massacres by Al-Assad's regime, its sponsors and the militias of Iran. In regard to another Arab issue, Al-Sharq newspaper said that the three authorities in Lebanon have become almost crippled with the insistence of Hezbollah and its allies on controlling the country. Al-Watan newspaper commented on the Egyptian scene, calling on the president to follow the path of dialogue, reason and reform. Al-Riyadh newspaper expressed regret for the situation of the Arab people who have been greatly suffering since 1948, the beginning of the Nakbah (Catastrophe) - which has been a plight for all Arabs not only for the Palestinians.
