A German man was injured in an attack carried out by gunmen on Western experts working in eastern Libya, the country's official news agency LANA reported Friday. The group was on its way to test a new electricity station near the eastern town of Ajdabiya on Thursday when masked gunmen in military fatigues fired at them, Fathi Mahfouz, an official at the station, told LANA. The German was wounded in the foot while a Libyan driver was slightly injured, added the official. A Swiss expert escaped unhurt. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the assault.
