The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of congratulations to President Hassan Rowhani on the occasion of winning the Iranian Presidential election. In his own name and on behalf of the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished the Iranian President permanent good health and happiness and the people of Iran steady progress and prosperity. The King lauded Rowhani's statements on his keenness to cooperate and improve relations between the two countries.
