Saudi Arabia Participates in FAO Conference

The 38th Annual Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) began here today.
Dr. Fahd bin Abdurrahman Balghunaim, Minister of Agriculture, led the Kingdom's delegation to the conference.
In his remarks during the opening session of the conference, Dr. Balghunaim highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's role and contributions in supporting the FAO.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Agriculture said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a cooperation agreement with the FAO until 2016 including 160 joint projects in the fields of agriculture and livestock.
