Six matches at football's Confederations Cup have been sold out including Saturday's opener between hosts Brazil and Japan and the host team's two other group matches against Mexico and Italy. By early Saturday, 740,732 tickets had been sold for the June 15-30 tournament, with some 120,000 still available, dpa quoted world governing body FIFA as saying. The six games sold out also include the final and the matches on Sunday between Mexico and Italy at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, and between world and European champions Spain and Uruguay in Recife . Ticket sales are already a record for a Confederations Cup and far exceed the around 200,000 sold at the tournament in South Africa four years ago.
