A three-year cooperation programme (2013-2015) was signed today in Rabat between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), by ISESCO Director General Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri and ABEGS Director General Dr. Ali Bin Abdul Khaliq Al-Qarni. The signing ceremony took place at the opening session of the Forum of the National Commissions of the Arab Region, on June 12 at ISESCO headquarters. The programme provides for co-implementation of activities in educational media and capacity building for administrators of schools of special need categories (gifted and talented), and coordination with Prince Salman Center for Disability Research to conduct a study on the role of special education in promoting general education programmes.
