The Border patrols in Jazan Region managed to foil a large number of smuggling attempts over the last month of Rajab, 1434 AH. Jazan region's media spokesman Captain Muhammad Al-Shamrani said that the seized items included 9,578 various ammunition, 118 weapons, a bottle of wine, 235.853 kg of Qat, 496 kg of Hashish, 1,818 kg of narcotic sniffs, 15,631 kg of fireworks, cash amount of SR 127,983, 2691 heads of cattle. He noted that 17,460 infiltrators and 403 smugglers were arrested during the operations.
