A series of deadly blasts rocked Iraq killing at least 40 people and wounding dozens, the Iraqi National News Agency reported today. Late Monday, at least 21 people were killed when five blasts hit the northern cities of Mosul, Tikrit and Tuz Khurmato, the agency said. A similar bomb blast also exploded in the town of Taji, north of Baghdad, killing at least nine people, it added. The evening blasts came after ten people were killed and 30 were injured when three car bombs exploded Monday in a village north of Baghdad, DPA quoted local media as saying. .
