Mexican authorities rescued 165 kidnap victims who had been held for weeks in the northeastern border state of Tamaulipas, the country's Interior Ministry said Thursday. The victims were held captive for as long as three weeks, officials said. Most of them - 150 - are Central American migrants from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Another 14 are Mexicans, and one is from India, the ministry said.
