Thirty-one people sought medical attention after a fire in a tunnel by a Moscow metro station during the Wednesday morning rush hour, Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry said. Four of them were hospitalized, it said. The alert at a metro station near the Kremlin prompted the evacuation of thousands of commuters, Russia's RIA Novosti news agency said. The fire broke out in a tunnel near Okhotny Ryad on Moscow Metro's oldest Sokolnicheskaya line, the emergencies ministry said. "A power cable caught fire," the Russian emergencies ministry's press office told the RIA Novosti agency.
