Yaum newspaper underlined the importance of the GCC foreign ministers' meeting in Jeddah, pointing out that almost all the GCC countries, in addition to Yemen, complain of blatant Iranian interference in its affairs. Al-Madinah newspaper commented on the dramatic events that involve a great deal of risk for the Middle East region, adding that the turmoil taking place now in the majority of countries in the region is getting out of control. On Iraq, Al-Riyadh newspaper said that the solution to the Iraqi problems is not impossible if all citizens are given equal rights. Al-Watan newspaper commented on the expansion of the Turkish protests suggesting that perhaps they are against the governing party's policy with regard to social life in urban Turkey.
