Prince Meteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz took the oath of office before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at his palace in Jeddah today, on the occasion of the issuance of the royal order appointing him as the Minister of National Guard. Prince Meteb said 'I swear by Allah Almighty to be faithful to the religion, and then to our King and homeland, tell no secret of the state secrets, and to protect its interests and regulations, and that I will perform my work with utmost truthfulness, honesty and sincerity.' Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques congratulated Prince Meteb, wishing him all success. For his part, Prince Meteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the royal trust bestowed on him. The taking oath ceremony was attended by the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education; Prince Dr. Mansur bin Meteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and a number of ministers.
