President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine met Monday with US Secretary of State John Kerry in the Jordanian capital Amman, their second in less than a week and their seventh since March. Abbas and Kerry held talks on Thursday in Ramallah on efforts to end the impasse in the peace process, according to a report the State of Palestine's news agency "WAFA." Kerry has proposed at the World Economic Forum held in Jordan a plan of $4 billion to stimulate the Palestinian economy as part of an overall plan for a peace settlement in the Middle East, "WAFA" said.
