The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Imam Ali Rahman opened in Dushanbe today the 38th annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Finance and Head of the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the meeting, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf. In his speech, the Tajik President emphasized the vital developmental roles played by the Islamic Development Bank in the Member States and Muslim communities around the world. On behalf of the least developed member countries of the IDB Group, the Tajik President said he was looking forward to further cooperation with the Bank and its members, especially in the field of developmental investments.
