German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle today arrived in Algeria on a two-day visit at the invitation of his Algerian counterpart Mourad Medelci. During the visit, the German minister will hold talks with Algerian officials, including the development of cooperation between the two countries and regional issues of common interest, especially the situation in the Sahel Desert and Maghreb developments.
