A truck driver was fighting for his life Friday after a spectacular peak-hour traffic accident on a freeway overpass in Melbourne, dpa reported. The early morning crash left an articulated lorry dangling over a barrier on the approach road to the Bolte Bridge. Police said the truck jack-knifed when trying to avoid a car thatmerged into its path. The driver fell from the window of his upturned cab, landing on aconcrete slab 15 metres below. The driver of the car was also injured. It took seven hours to lift the truck off the bridge.
